A true love story

Tergel comes from Uvs province in Mongolia, Samy grew up in Paris, France. They met in Paris in 2020 and it was love at first sight. After living five years in one of the most romantic cities in the world, Tergel invited her family to spend one month in Europe.

An authentic meeting with the owner

Pierre Person, CEO and owner at Château Jalousie Beaulieu, 6th generation of the winemakers' family, led the visit and tasting. First, he introduced the story of the family-owned winery while admiring the estate outside. Tergel, who has been learning French since a few years, brilliantly translated from French to Mongolian to her family members.

In the shoes of a winemaker

Then, he took them inside the cellar to understand the basics of winemaking processes. October is a special time for winemakers as they just finished harvesting. This year, the quality of the grapes is good although volumes remain low due to a long drought in August 2025.

The visit continued to the bottling area where Tergel's parents could see some customer orders ready for shipping: Denmark, Hungary, USA, Japan, etc.

Tasting Bordeaux red wines

Then, they went to the tasting room where the guests could taste Pierre's non-alcoholic red wine, LA JALOUSIE, as well as the other traditional Bordeaux red wines of the winery.

Pierre's parents, Philippe & Agnès who represent the previous generation of winemakers, joined them at the end of the visit for a fabulous family photo!

What authenticity truly means!

After returning home, Tergel's family spent some relaxing time at the winery. Tergel's father is a retired artist, talented painter and sculptor. While Pierre's niece and nephew were playing around, he painted their portrait. It was such an intense and emotional moment!
